We are delighted to invite you to join us in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Centre for Functional Genomics and Biochips (CFGBC) and the Biochip Consortium. We will celebrate the anniversary at the traditional scientific symposium, which will take place on 11 and 12 June 2025 in the middle lecture hall of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ljubljana, Korytkova 2, Ljubljana.
This year we have prepared a two-day programme with numerous international lecturers. As every year, the topics will be very diverse, from microbes and plants to humans and various computational research approaches. The opening lecture will be given by Dame Janet Thornton from the EBI-EMBL in the UK, Director Emeritus of the EBI and member of the EMBO. The programme of the symposium is attached. Admission is free, the official language of the symposium is English.
We invite you to present your work in poster format at the symposium and submit an abstract by 14 May 2025. This year, some contributions will be selected for a short poster presentation and the three best posters will be honoured.
