Call to tender for young researchers in 2026

The University of Ljubljana has announced a call for young researchers for 2026. The purpose of the call is to select candidates for employment as young researchers, where they will be trained to earn a Ph.D. and participate in research and teaching activities.

The call is intended for candidates who have completed a master’s degree in a relevant field (2nd Bologna cycle) or those who will complete their studies by September 15, 2026, at the latest.

There are 119 full-time positions available with fixed-term employment contracts of up to four years. Candidates must also be enrolled in a doctoral program for the 2026/2027 academic year, and they must apply separately for the doctoral program.

The deadline for submitting applications is May 8, 2026, and applications are submitted via the University of Ljubljana’s online application system.
