In a collaborative effort of partners from 10 countries INDEED creates an information and skill-building intervention for institutions involved in dementia care and their members or employees, including health and social services, professional associations, governmental authorities, public administrations and private enterprises.

The intervention comprises 3 modules: an interdisciplinary training (CAMPUS), a networking tool (CONNECT), and a business consulting service (COACH). INDEED will enhance the competences of multiple professions that engage in dementia care, enhance their collaboration and coordination, improve the quality and delivery of services, and foster the development of innovative care facilities and business models. The intervention will be delivered in blended-learning format and will be evaluated in pilot actions in four countries. It will be disseminated to the above mentioned target groups including health and social policy makers. INDEED is innovative since it simultaneously addresses three major unmet needs in dementia care, delivers coherent information and training for all relevant professional groups, and combines traditional learning formats with web-based education technology. INDEED also pioneers by promoting cross-border knowledge transfer and exchange of best practices in healthcare.
