The call for applications for admission to undergraduate and integrated master’s degree programs at the University of Ljubljana is published annually in late January or early February for the upcoming academic year. Applicants apply for available spots in accordance with the deadlines and procedures specified in the Call for Applications on the website gov.si. The application and admission process is managed and carried out by the University of Ljubljana’s Higher Education Application and Information Service.

As part of this call for applications, the following enrollment spots are available at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana for Slovenian citizens and citizens of European Union member states: The full call for applications is available on the MVZI website.
The following candidates may enroll in the integrated master’s degree programs in Medicine and Dental Medicine:
All applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the Slovenian language at the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) by submitting the appropriate certificate at the time of application. Candidates who are taking (or have taken) the general or vocational high school leaving exam in the Republic of Slovenia do not need to submit proof of Slovenian language proficiency; the National Examination Center will provide this information to the Higher Education Application and Information Service. Candidates who wish to demonstrate proficiency in the Slovenian language at the B2 level with a language proficiency certificate must submit a certificate issued by ALTE-accredited Slovenian language examination centers (Center for Slovenian as a Second and Foreign Language).
Certificates from other language schools are not acceptable proof.

As a general rule, a decision to limit enrollment is made each year for admission to the Faculty of Medicine. In recent years, a score of between 81 and 91 points has been required for admission to the EMŠ Medicine program, and between 79 and 89 points for admission to the EMŠ Dental Medicine program.
