Courses
The Faculty of Medicine offers a selection of courses in English. Due to organisational constraints, these courses are only available once per year, and the Faculty is unable to adapt to the needs of Erasmus+ exchange students.
Students are permitted to select courses from different study years, provided there is no collision. The clinical practice from the sixth (final) year is reserved for students in the last academic year. Students in lower years of study who wish to select the clinical practice must first successfully complete the theoretical part, either at their home university or prior to arrival in Ljubljana. Students cannot select the specific time period for the clinical practice, as this is determined solely by the International Office.
Due to the increasing number of Erasmus+ incoming students in recent years, it has become necessary to limit the number of available places for Erasmus+ students in certain courses: Mental Diseases, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Clinical Paediatrics, Public Health, Skin and Venereal Diseases and Urinary Tract Diseases. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
