The Translational Molecular Endocrinology for Women's Health P3-0449 program group at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ljubljana organized a free interactive workshop for doctoral students of the Biomedicine doctoral program, postdocs and interested researchers. The workshop took place on 16 September 2025 at the seminar of the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics of the Faculty of Medicine. During the workshop, the world-renowned lecturers Prof. Dr Jerzy Adamski and Prof. Dr Karl Storbeck shared their extensive knowledge on metabolomics, steroidomics, the design of metabolomic studies and the use of steroidomic data to develop mathematical models.

In 2024, a new program group P3-0449 Translational Molecular Endocrinology for Women's Health was established at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ljubljana, focusing on the models of hormone-dependent diseases, the study of pathophysiology, the discovery of new targets for drug development and the discovery of diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers. The first scientific meeting of the program group with invited lecturers from abroad was held on 18 September 2024 in the small lecture hall of the Faculty of Medicine. During the "Translational Molecular Endocrinology" meeting, existing studies in the field of molecular basis and biochemical markers of hormone-dependent diseases were presented, as well as planned new studies that would be conducted in collaboration with the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and colleagues from abroad.
