Study

Curriculum

The first three years of the Integrated Master’s Course in Medicine comprise basic medical (pre-clinical) subjects that enable the student to acquire the basic knowledge required for an understanding of various clinical fields, although those first three years also include some clinical subjects. The proportion of clinical subjects increases with every year, and accounts for the majority of subjects from the 4th year onwards. In the clinical part of their studies, the student acquires clinical knowledge of the systems of the body as well as knowledge of specific clinical fields. In the 6th (final) year, the student’s knowledge is integrated into the clinical environment (clinical exercises at various departments) in fields such as internal medicine, surgery, primary healthcare and paediatrics.
